Heirloom Seals was founded in 2017 by a husband and wife team, Diane Wisdom and James Healy, in response to the ever-increasing pace of change in the 21st Century. Passionate about slow, intentional art-making, Heirloom Seals is on a mission to spread the joy of handmade crafts while helping to preserve traditional arts for future generations.
Handmade the Old-Fashioned Way
Everything we make is done the good old-fashioned way, with the utmost precision and care, all crafted in our West Cork studio. Obsessive about quality, our products are made to the highest standards with the finest ingredients and time-honoured traditions.
Truly One-of-a-Kind
Our wax seals, rubber stamps and embossers are hand-illustrated, hand-lettered and handcrafted so you are guaranteed to make a unique impression. Using the traditional approach of hand-stamping wax seals in small batches, slight variations in texture and shape ensure no two seals are ever the same. In-house engraving expertise offers customised design and personalisation for a truly unique, one-of-a-kind experience.
Committed to People and the Planet
We care deeply for the environment, local communities and culture. Our materials are sourced as locally & sustainably as possible - all of our brass is sourced in Europe and we use naturally-pigmented, hand-blended wax from the UK.
We use recycled materials where possible; for example our embosser handles are made from 98% post-consumer waste. We also offer a Waste Wax Recycling Programme to allow you to repurpose your wax scraps free-of-charge and help to minimise our collective waste!
We Believe in Giving Back
Heirloom Seals is a small team with big ideas and an even bigger heart. For every sale, we proudly donate to the LauraLynn Foundation, Ireland’s only children’s hospice. With your help, we have raised over €9000 for Lauralynn ... and it won’t stop there!
