Wax seal stampers rejoice! 🙌🏻 .... I have a really fun activity to share that makes use of your wax seal stamp, whilst also giving your kids a unique and calming activity that encourages lovely fine motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination.
Our babies have been doing this activity since they were a little over a year old... I guess having 'Wax Seal Makers' as parents, it's not surprising that it's been such a hit in our household!
What you’ll need:
- Grab your Wax Seal Stamp - any design works and the more the merrier
- Simply add Play-Doh!
Step One :
Encourage your little one to help you roll the Play-Doh into lots of little balls approximately the size of the brass on the wax seal stamps.
Step Two :
Stamp the balls into lovely little seals. It's a beautifully satisfying feeling to stamp the Play-Doh which can be incredibly engaging for them.
Top Tip : If your children are very small, you can slightly squish the balls so that they are easier to stamp and won't roll away. As they get older, the challenge of steadying the ball in order to stamp adds to the fun.
And that's it! It's a really simple, fun and engaging activity with zero prep time and very little clean up. Happy stamping!
