Our heirloom embossers are an easy and efficient way to add an elegant and tactile touch to your paper. Whether you're embossing foil stickers, wedding invitations, personal stationery or envelopes, an embosser adds the the perfect personalised impression. If you've never used an embosser before, it can seem a bit daunting to figure out. But don't panic, they are easy and fun to use. Once you know how, you'll be embossing everything in sight!
Step One:
Remove your embosser from your pretty Heirloom drawstring bag. Lift the embosser handle - you will need to slide the lock at the top to the front to unlock the handles.
Step Two:
Squeeze the engraved insert plates together and pull them gently from the inner rear of the seal.
Step Three:
Squeeze the insert plates together again and slide them into the front of the seal, ensuring 'UP-SIDE' is facing up.
Step Four:
Making sure your handle is all the way up, push the plates back into the seal until they 'click' into place. And your embosser is ready to use!
Step Five:
Slide the paper into the front of the embosser and position the circles where you would like your impression to be made. You can use the arrow on top of the embosser to help your direction on the page.
Step Six:
Once you're happy with the location of your embosser, firmly press the top handle down until you hear a light 'click'. You can create your impression by squeezing the embosser with both hands, or you can rest the embosser on a flat surface for ease and push the handle down. Gently release and that's it! Time to admire your beautifully embossed paper.
We love the versatility of an embosser. They can be used on invitations, place cards, save the dates, menus or any other elements of your stationery. Our bespoke engraved embossers are specially designed to ensure that they make a crisp and clear impression onto your paper, adding the perfect subtle statement whilst maintaining a clean and elegant look.
