We are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented creatives in the wedding industry, and today, on the week of their first anniversary, we have the honour of sharing the breath-taking wedding by the Designer & Wedding Planner Becca Jordan-Haylock to her husband Josh Haylock.
Becca is the talented creative behind House of Three London, a design services company specialising in weddings, interiors and styling. We adore Becca's work so when Lisa from Paperknots asked us to create some custom embellishments for Becca's wedding stationery, we were only too delighted to oblige.
Becca & Josh tied the knot in Babington House in Somerset. This Georgian manor provides the most beautiful backdrop for any special occasion with its exquisite décor and breath-taking gardens.
Using a sophisticated colour palette of greys and blues, adorned with natural foliage, Becca designed the most incredibly romantic & elegant wedding. Every tiny detail was thoughtfully considered and beautifully styled.
Becca looked truly spellbinding in this enchanting gown from Suzanne Neville. Featuring a plunging neckline and glistening lace fabric, it ensured that Becca dazzled from dawn 'til dusk. The hair & make up by Louise Alway & Eleanor Nancy was utterly flawless allowing the natural beauty of Becca & her Bridesmaids to shine through.
Becca's bridesmaids were dressed in beautifully unique gowns in complimentary shades of greys & blue.
The bridesmaid's bouquets featured an elegant array of leaves and foliage whilst Becca's bouquet also had the addition of some luxurious white roses. The bouquets were bound with opulent grey-blue velvet ribbons from C Fleur Designs.
The table plan, designed by Lisa from Paperknots and constructed with help from Becca's dad, was an elegant and impressive feature. Guests were greeted with wall of envelopes encasing exquisite handmade place cards in an ombre of navy to light grey shades.
These place cards were handmade from plush card overlapped with soft vellum table numbers. The table numbers were held in place by a teeny tiny matte white wax seal, which proved to the perfect addition to these beautiful creations.
The reception room was utterly exquisite. Elevated botanical displays adorned the tables, adding vertical detailing whilst keeping the tables spacious and elegant. The tables were dressed in sumptuous linen by Just 4 Linen and adorned with hand dyed table runners by Kate Cullen. Stunning foliage and floral arrangements, created by Flowers By Passion, carefully lined the centre of each table and were intermixed with elegant tapered candles nested in candle holders crafted by Becca's dad.
The colour scheme of varying blues and greys was artfully spotted throughout the tables in the candles, glassware, crockery and the natural silk detailing.
As far as attention to detail goes, no stone was left unturned for this beautifully curated celebration.
The table numbers were designed and hand made from wood and plaster, by Becca & her dad. Wire table numbers were delicately applied to each finished block.
The napkins were hand-dyed by Becca and her mum in deep grey and off-white shades and then beautifully embroidered with their wedding date.
The three tiered wedding cake, created by Zaza Marcelle featured a tier of hand painted edible 'art' in the complimentary colour palette of navy and grey. The cake was also adorned with an olive branch botanical embellishment to compliment the foliage detailing throughout.
Becca's vision for her wedding stationery was brought to life by the incredible Lisa Groves from Paperknots UK. Inspired by Becca's colour palette, Lisa created the most beautifully tactile wedding suite design.
Lisa kept the design muted and minimal but elevated it with her exceptional skill of layering tones & textures.
Classic font styles are gracefully mixed with elegant hand lettering. Layered tonal RSVP booklets are bound in hand dyed silk ribbons. Vellum wraps tied with string and delicate name tags, encase the ceremony information booklet.
And the most beautifully illustrated map of Babington house was created using complimentary tones & delightful patterns.
The information booklet was the centrepiece of this luxury suite. Not only did it include the aforementioned map, but it also contained the order of service, individual packets of dried petal confetti, as well as a luxury tissue for 'happy tears'.
The finishing touch was the use of a custom date embosser to create an extra special tactile element on the cover. This chic wedding date design was echoed in the bespoke table napkins above.
Every detail of this wedding, from the planning, to the styling, to the stationery was thoughtfully considered and exquisitely detailed. We are honoured to have played just a tiny part in this breath-taking affair.
Becca & Josh, we wish you the happiest anniversary this week and wish you many, many happy years to come. x
