Today we bring you these gorgeous images from Laura & Gerry's wedding. Hosted at the exquisite Maryborough Hotel in Co. Cork which, due to its breath-taking gardens, stunning Georgian architecture and enchanting conservatory-style Orangery, has positioned itself as one of Irelands most sought after wedding locations. The Wisteria Blossom Tree vines which hang from the ceiling ensure that this room needs little to no decoration before being ready for a special occasion.
Laura was truly breath-taking in this graceful gown from Wed2Be Dublin featuring luxurious lace and an exquisite train. The elegant outline paired with soft hair and makeup allowed Laura's own natural beauty to shine through. The simplistic aesthetic was cleverly accentuated with the stunning finer details on her shoes, earrings and of course, magnificent wedding ring.
Our bride happens to be the 'Laura' behind Calligraphy by Laura which explains the endless calligraphic details throughout this wonderful wedding. The signage, table plans, table numbers, place settings and menus were all hand-calligraphed by Laura herself and played an integral role in enhancing the enchanting Orangery with stunning touches of her own art form.
Laura did not skip on a single detail, adding script to her perfume bottles, bouquet holders and even her clothes hangers! Our hearts were warmed to learn that Laura's mum, who is also an incredibly talented calligrapher, hand wrote the first line from Laura & Gerry's first dance onto Laura's shoes along with the stunning handwritten guest book. Such lovely details that Laura will no doubt cherish for many years to come.
Her dusky grey theme shone through in the ribbons, candlesticks and bridesmaids dresses. The colour palette was also picked up in this unique grey cake by Gabriela Széplaki, cleverly adorned in gold frosting and the same botanicals from the stunningly simplistic floral arrangements.
Laura chose to use natural deckled edged papers in the same dusky grey shade throughout all her paper adornments and in doing so married fine art and old-world charm beautifully. We were thrilled that she chose to use our botanical wreath wax stamp which can be seen hand-stamped into our decadent gold sealing wax on the place holders and quite uniquely on the bridal bouquets adding a timeless touch of fine art to the final details of her special day. Laura chose our botanical wreath embosser which can be seen deeply imprinted onto these luxurious textured papers.
With the help of Mother Nature's botanical design embellish your wedding stationery using our wreath wax seal. Stamp your wax seal impression in our pearl white sealing wax or add some sparkle with our metallic gold sealing wax.
Deeply engraved and uniquely personalised, a bespoke wax seal stamp can be used to enhance memories today and then be cherished and passed down through generations for years to come.
Alternatively, create a subtle, tactile statement on your earthy toned envelopes, menus or vow books with our botanical wreath embosser.
